West Des Moines OSTEOARTHRITIS SUFFERERS AND THEIR PAIN

WHAT TO EAT ON A MEDITERRANEAN DIET

Eating a Mediterranean diet can be very delicious as well as exciting for a recent Mediterranean diet follower.

BENEFITS OF THE MEDITERRANEAN DIET

Knee osteoarthritis involves inflammation as well as pain. An analysis of 3 research reports points out that biomarkers of inflammation and cartilage degradation due to osteoarthritis decreased in the Mediterranean diet group. (1) Specifically, the pro-inflammatory cytokine IL-1α decreased in the Mediterranean diet group.
